Ooops…since I didn’t have a “goal race” I was training for, I didn’t do my weekly training logs, and now here we are at the start of July, and I’ll have to recap the whole month of June!
Total Road KMs : 41 kms
Total Trail KMs : 52 approx
Hours running : 11.5 hrs approx
Cross-training hours (Spinning, Boxing class, Grinds, at home XFit) : 6.5 hrs approx

How’s my month been?
It was a good month, way more focused on doing the Grind, prepping for Seek the Peak, and Tough Mudder.
I didn’t do much road running, I didn’t do any hill training, interval training, or race specific training.
6 Grinds is not bad, all of which were between 46 & 51:30, which is pretty damn consistent.
Overall, it was a good month, but nothing to write home about.
In order to make sure that July is rocking, I’ve set a few goals for myself :
- 8 Grinds
- 100 kms roads
- 40 kms trails
- 12 hrs other work-outs – spin, box, strength, etc.
- oh and get back to my pre-xmas weight by July 31 (about 8 lbs to lose)
- paleo, paleo, paleo – 1 cheat day per week, and keep it to the afternoon/evening only
