As seen on my run…Deer Lake

Quite often, when running in my neighbourhood, I head down to a beautiful hidden gem, Deer Lake in Burnaby.

Deer Lake is a small park, it’s approximately 5 kms to run around it, and has multiple paths if you want to make it longer.  Sometimes I’ll do 2 loops, but change up the paths or direction to keep it interesting.

It’s a beautiful place, and is busy with runners, walkers, dogs, movie shoots, and often engagement photos as well.  I don’t normally carry my phone and take pictures along my run – it’s just not something I do.

Recently, my friend Jen and I took my dogs for a walk around Deer Lake on a perfect winter day, and these are the pics I took showing you the view that I see during my runs…
