I realized that I hadn’t really shared many photos in February, even though I spent some great times on the trails with some great friends. So, this post is just some of my fave pictures from my February trail runs.
I started off February with a random fun little trail adventure with my buddy Norm, who was in town after flying into Vancouver from a Vegas trip. We tried to run all the booze and gambling out of his system!
I spent a FREEEEEEZING cold afternoon on some Washington trails with Jessica, where we running on top of icicles and frozen mud the entire time. Was a gorgeous sunny day though!
Hilary and I headed out to Norvan Falls one day, and while it was again a gorgeous sunny day, the Falls were more than half frozen…say what?! Never seen that before, it was super neat, but obviously doesn’t show up in pics.
A bunch of us met up at the Mountain Madness Dirty Duo run, but instead of running with the group (I was on a time crunch) we just stuck with our little group of 8, and rocked out a killer run. Such a fun morning! Top left to right – Jay, Rob, Shawn bottom – Hilary, me, Lisa, Jen, and Chris’ floating head.
Jay and I bought new shoeies, 2 styles we’ve never tried before, and went for a quick little muddy run on Family Day. The trails were thawing, and there was a ton of ice underneath the mud, and it was a bit sketchy, and by a bit, I mean extremely. Poor Jay took a nasty fall on this run. But, we both are big fans of the shoes – especially me with the Fellcross – it is bad ass on a comfort level, and with killer traction. Love.
Down to the states for another run with Jess, where she took me on another adventure of all new trails.
Check the name of this trail…
Also took some readers in town from San Fran on a tour of some of my fave trails with the pups, another beauty day in the woods!
Now that is one happy pup!
And I’ve already posted this photo on my Lord Hill recap, but that run closed out the month for me on the trails, and this picture is too stunning to leave out of a post about my favourite trail pics in February! It just wouldn’t be right!
So, as you can see, it’s been a month of beautiful views on many different trails, and I’m so lucky to have been able to run in all of these amazing places!
