How’s my month been?

Gosh. July has been a roller coaster of a month.  There is no other way to explain it.  It’s been a struggle all around, but particularly because I didn’t want to or expect to go into KneeKnacker with an injury and a head cold (obviously), and it really affected me leading up to, on race day, and in my recovery after as well.  BUT, we’re on the upswing heading into August, and I’m feeling positive.

How’s my month been?

June was fantastic.  I can’t say enough good things about June.  I had a couple of set backs, but overall it was a strong month, and I feel great about my training.

Hello, MAY!  April was a weird month, since it was comprised of taper, a marathon, recovery, and then a 2nd taper.  My mileage was super low due to all this, but regardless, it was a good month overall.

I honestly feel like I JUST wrote my February recap.  Even with March being a longer month, it absolutely flew by, and it’s crazy to me that it’s now April.  INSANE.

Great!  Another solid month, my highest monthly mileage, EVER, and my strongest training month to date.

DietBet – V.2.0

In January, I took on a DietBet, and I was successful in reaching my goal, losing 7.6 lbs in 4 weeks.  I hated the pressure of having to lose the weight in the time frame allotted, but I found that it was the kick in the pants I needed.

Truth of the matter is, I am someone who performs under pressure. 

I have around 10 lbs that I’ve lost in the past, and know that I can lose again, so, here enters the DietBet V.2.0. which starts TODAY!

How’s my month(s) been? 

Mostly great.  I did my Whole 30, I won my Dietbet, I have done more yoga than ever before, my Yasso’s have been awesome, it’s really been a great training month.

Dolla Dolla Bills Y’all

 

Well, now that my Dietbet is officially over, it’s time to see how much moola I won!

Out of 582 players, 277 players were able to meet their 4% weight loss, and 305 players were not.  From the start, I figured it would be close to 50% of people participating that would “win”, and I was pretty close, as this works out to 47.6%!

And so, my big winnings?

Not exactly a huge amount, but a bit more than I expected, and plus, it’s always a bonus being paid for losing weight!

Now…to decide what to do next??  I’d still like to lose some more weight, but I’m not sure if the stress of another DietBet is right for me.  But, I do my best work under pressure, so maybe it is??  Thoughts??
